Wedgwood Garden Center, Inc and Lane Landscaping Services were founded in 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia, by two Navy Chiefs who had a mutual love of plants and landscaping.
The original garden center was located on E. Little Creek Road, and through the years, one location evolved into two by opening the Holland Road store in Virginia Beach in 1982. During its retail operation history, Wedgwood Garden Center was voted by the Virginian-Pilot's "Best of Norfolk" Gold for the "Best Garden Center” many times and we have since won GOLD and SILVER for BEST LANDSCAPE COMPANY in recent years.

In 2007, Wedgwood closed both retail locations, deciding to shift their focus to the landscaping services that our customers and their families and friends expect from our business.

Wedgwood is an active member of the VNLA, Certified Virginia Nurserymen, and staffed with Horticulturists. Wedgwood Garden Center, Inc, and Lane Landscaping Services have maintained over a 20-year relationship with some of the best Tidewater Custom Home Builders and we are highly recommended by a long list of satisfied customers.
