Customer Portal and Payment Processing
Wedgwood provides customers with access to an online Customer Portal through Method CRM. The Customer Portal may allow customers to review estimates, invoices, account information, and other information related to their relationship with Wedgwood.
Electronic payments made through the Customer Portal are processed using third-party payment services. Wedgwood currently uses Square to process electronic payments through our Method CRM payment integration.
When a customer chooses to pay by credit card, an applicable 2.9% credit card processing fee is calculated by Square and disclosed to the customer before the payment is authorized and submitted. Electronic check payments are available to customers without an additional processing fee charged by Wedgwood.
Payment processors and other service providers may collect and process information necessary to complete a transaction, prevent fraud, maintain transaction records, and comply with applicable legal requirements. Their handling of information may also be governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
How We Share Information
Wedgwood does not sell or rent customer personal information for marketing purposes.
We may disclose personal information to trusted third-party service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our business and provide services to our customers. These providers may include customer relationship management and Customer Portal providers, payment processors, website and email service providers, accounting and business software providers, and other vendors that assist us in operating our business.
